FOX45: Pasadena man pleads guilty to sexual exploitation of minors

BALTIMORE (WBFF) — A man has pleaded guilty to sexual exploitation of a minor and commission of a crime involving a minor by a registered sex offender, the Department of Justice said.

Gary Hammond Jackson, 32, of Pasadena, sexually abused a minor, reportedly a 6-year-old, in 2020 and then took photos of the abuse with his cell phone, according to a press release.

Jackson pleaded guilty and was convicted of fourth-degree sexual offense, second-degree assault, and was required to register as a sex offender in 2020.

In 2022, Jackson took photographs of the abuse of a second victim, who was 3 years old at the time, and had more than 1,500 files of child pornography in his possession, the press release said.

According to the Justice Department, Jackson faces a minimum sentence of 15 years and a maximum sentence of 30 years in federal prison for sexual exploitation of a minor. He also faces a mandatory sentence of 10 years in federal prison for committing a crime involving a minor by a registered sex offender.
