Tips lead to arrest of Nashville man on multiple aggravated sexual exploitation charges

An investigation by detectives from the MNPD’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) unit led to the arrest of Alejandro Jarquin, 25, last night on six counts of aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor.

Multiple tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children revealed that Jarquin was the alleged owner of multiple Kik messaging app accounts that had been uploading and sharing child sexual abuse material over the past five months. Each account was used to share explicit material at least 25 times, with one account containing over 200 files of young boys engaged in sexual activity.

Jarquin was arrested by Violent Crimes detectives at his Midtown home. He remains jailed on a $300,000 bond.
