Man Arrested on Accusation of Sexual Exploitation of Minor

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A man was arrested Tuesday night after an investigation revealed he allegedly shared child pornography.

Alejandro Jarquin, 25, is charged with six counts of aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor, the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) said.

“Several tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children identified Jarquin as the alleged owner of multiple Kik messaging app accounts that were used to upload and share child sexual abuse material over the past five months,” MNPD said.

Each account shared explicit material at least 25 times, and one account contained over 200 files of child abuse material.

The MNPD said Jarquin was taken into custody at his residence and remains in jail on a $300,000 bond,
