Three arrests in Calderdale child sex abuse investigation

Three men have been arrested on suspicion of sexually abusing a girl more than 16 years ago.

West Yorkshire Police said the men, two aged 38 and one aged 39, were arrested in the Halifax area as part of an investigation into child sexual exploitation in Calderdale.

The facts are said to have taken place between 2006 and 2008.

Police said all three men had been released on bail while an “extensive investigation” was carried out.
