Tren de Aragua arrests pile up in Colorado as Democrats play blind man’s bluff

Democrats in Colorado have been thrown into meltdown after Donald Trump highlighted the rising numbers of violent migrants here and in other states, a result of “border czar” Harris’s mass migration policies.

When he brought up Aurora during Tuesday’s debate, Democratic spin doctor Kyle Clark of 9News jumped in, mocking the former president and nitpicking at Trump’s verb construction.

This is what Trump said:

“And you see what’s happening. You see what’s happening to cities in the United States. Look at Springfield, Ohio. Look at Aurora, Colorado. They’re taking over cities. They’re taking over buildings. They’re going in violently. These are the people that they and Biden let into our country, and they’re destroying our country. They’re dangerous. They’re at the highest levels of crime. And we’ve got to get them out. We’ve got to get them out fast.”

Dangerous migrants in the form of Tren de Aragua are making their violent presence known in several apartment buildings in Aurora.

According to Aurora police, two of the people arrested are documented gang members in connection with a shooting at a Nome Street apartment complex. Two other arrests are linked to the gang.

Aurora police confirmed in recent days that at least ten members of the dangerous Tren de Aragua gang have been identified in the city and eight have been arrested.

The presence of these violent gang members is not limited to Aurora. Four men with ties to the gang have been charged in connection with a violent robbery of a Denver jewelry store.

Four gang members were arrested in Arapahoe County a few weeks ago on various charges, including car theft and drug charges.

As if that weren’t enough, this summer Homeland Security reported intelligence indicating that gang members had been given the green light to kill police officers in Colorado.

Rather than address the problem head-on before it gets out of hand, Democrats and many in the corporate media would rather claim that the gang problem not widespread.

That will be no comfort to their victims.

Aurora Mayor Coffman and Councilwoman Danielle Jurinsky, the only officials willing to admit that gangs are a problem, are also trying to make it clear that the gang has not “taken over” their city.

They issued a joint statement making it clear that gang activity in their city and surrounding towns is limited to specific crimes or, in the case of the apartments, to a limited area.

Unlike politicians and journalists, people speak in generalities. Trump’s point is that open borders are allowing dangerous people like this gang to “take over” in countless American cities.

Do we really have to keep harping on about how this means they are committing crimes in greater numbers?

The increasing activity of Tren de Aragua in the US illustrates the differences between the Democratic and Republican Parties.

Democrats have been slow to acknowledge this problem and generally make excuses for all criminals, without regard to the harm to victims or the impact on the community – unless the criminal is white.

Republicans are tough on crime, period. It is and always will be a central part of the GOP to punish dangerous criminals and protect the innocent.

The race, religion, gender or nationality of criminals has never been a factor in prosecution and never should be.

In the United States, justice is still blind.

Kudos to Aurora for her attempt to acknowledge and resolve the issue while fending off nasty social media gossip.

But don’t get caught up in the Democrats’ game of pretending there’s nothing to see or whining about grammar.

It is clear that a trend of Tren de Aragua gang activity is trying to establish itself on the Front Range. It is time to admit that we have a problem and do something about it.
