“This defendant allegedly subjected two young women to horrific abuse, treated them as his personal property by branding them with his nickname, and forced them into a life of exploitation and violence,” Gonzalez said. “The cruelty these victims endured is appalling, and we will work hard to ensure he is held accountable for the inhumanity he committed.”

Roberson, of Dallas, also known as “Blue Cheese,” met the 17-year-old and 18-year-old victims in Dallas. According to court documents, the teenage girls met Roberson on Instagram and agreed to travel to New York.

Roberson and the victims arrived in New York in August. He allegedly purchased a hotel room in East New York Brooklyn and forced the victims into prostitution.

On one occasion, after forcing the victims to get “Blue Cheese” tattooed on their faces, Roberson allegedly got into an argument with the 17-year-old victim and kicked her in the face, causing her to seize up, officials said. Roberson also allegedly stabbed the 17-year-old girl in the side of the body with scissors, court documents said.

The victims escaped, and one of them managed to text someone in Texas for help, giving the hotel’s name, address, and room number. Officers responded to the 911 call, found the victim in the parking lot, and arrested Roberson.

Roberson faces the following charges:

  • Sex trafficking of a child
  • Prostitution promotion in the second degree
  • Promoting third degree prostitution
  • Fourth degree promotion of prostitution
  • Second degree assault
  • Third degree assault
  • Fourth Degree Criminal Possession of a Weapon

  • Third degree sexual abuse

Roberson is due back in court on October 23.
