SB Nation Reacts Results: Bills Mafia Ready to Roll in Week 2 with Josh Allen

Earlier this week, we asked Rumblers to share their confidence in the Buffalo Bills following a 34-28 Week 1 win over the Arizona Cardinals . So what does the Bills Mafia think of their favorite team ahead of tonight’s Week 2 matchup against the Miami Dolphins? Thursday Evening Football this season?

They’re a confident bunch, as you might have predicted, with 76% of respondents satisfied with the team’s direction following the season opener. That number jumps up a few percentage points from last week (74% approval), and is a reminder that hope springs eternal this time of year, even when a team loses players of the caliber of Stefon Diggs, Jordan Poyer, Micah Hyde, Mitch Morse and more.

You can bet that a lot of what drives fans’ continued passion for Bills quarterback Josh Allen is the one thing that drives him. After decades of incomplete prospects and no clear path to a franchise signal caller, general manager Brandon Beane has rewarded the team’s most loyal fan base with a generational talent at quarterback — and one who will likely end up at the top of the Buffalo Bills’ record books, if not higher.

So regardless of Allen’s left hand injury, Bills Country is confident he’ll be fine.

In national polls, respondents were asked to rank the top 10 teams. So where did the Bills land? Fifth, among those voters. Do you take offense to these results — is anyone being overrated compared to the Bills?

Just as they voted on the top 10 teams in the NFL, voters were also asked to weigh in and power rank the league’s worst teams. It’s a list no team wants to top — but that’s exactly where the Carolina Panthers find themselves. Do any of the other results here surprise you?
