Child Pornography – Arrest: R24-41300

In August 2024, the Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) in Vancouver intercepted a suspicious package destined for an address in Winnipeg. The Winnipeg Police Service’s Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) was alerted and an investigation was launched.

On August 29, ICE investigators seized the package and determined that its contents included a sex doll anatomically designed to resemble a prepubescent child.

A suspect was identified and through further investigation, investigators learned that the suspect had ordered multiple similar items between October 2023 and August 2024. A search warrant was obtained.

On September 4th, the search warrant was executed at a residence in Fort Richmond. Approximately 20 anatomically correct female dolls, ranging in size from newborn to early teens, were found along with clothing/accessories intended for the dolls. Some of the dolls had been physically altered from their original state.

A 45 year old man, Jonathan Paul SIRSKI of Winnipeg, was arrested and charged with the following offences:

  • Possession of child pornography
  • Imports, distributes, sells or possesses for the purpose of distribution or sale of child pornography
  • Makes, prints, publishes or possesses for the purpose of publication of child pornography

He was detained by the police.
