Lecce: Fugitive Parlangeli, leading member of the Tornese-Padovano mafia clan, captured

At dawn, within the framework of a complex investigation centred on the Anti-Mafia Directorate of the Lecce district, by personnel of the State Police of the Flying Brigade and the Sisco of Lecce, together with the STAI staff (Technological Section applied to investigations) of the Central Operational Service, the fugitive Giovanni Parlangeli, a criminal born in ’81, a leading member of the Tornese-Padovano mafia clan, was arrested.

The fugitive, who has been untraceable since May 2023, has been detained in prison as a precaution because he is seriously suspected of, among other things, the crime of ‘association of the mafia’.
