About the role:

The Regional Sales Engineer, position is responsible for managing our product technical sales support. The primary focus is on pre-sales technical, Evaluations/Proof of Values ​​and post-sales assistance with revenue goals. The right candidate will possess excellent energy and drive and a genuine desire to build business across a portfolio of accounts. They will be able to quickly build effective relationships and directly identify valuable business within each account that can then be enhanced by leveraging internal resources. What you will do:

As a Sales Engineer you are responsible for:

  • Collaborate with our sales teams and partners with intensive technical pre-sales activities.

  • Qualify opportunities technically and evaluate them via POV (Proof of Value) with end-user accounts and partners.

  • Create security assessment reports for end users after the POV evaluation.

  • Help increase end-user adoption and engagement to convert POVs into revenue.

  • Work with Corporate PM and Engineering to capture the latest forensic information and details that can be used for assessment reports and end users.

  • Point of contact between partners/customers and head office for technical issues and their requirements.

  • Together with the sales teams, achieve and exceed the assigned quarterly sales targets.

  • Continuously monitor, assess and report on the competitive situation and market developments in the region.

  • Support all marketing activities applicable in the region.

What do you need:

  • Experience working in an IT security company

  • You must have experience in presales and have excellent technical knowledge in networking and/or security

  • Knowledge of various hacking and exploitation tools and methodologies, common malware families, and anti-virus/IDS/IPS evasion techniques.

  • Excellent knowledge and experience with a wide range of IT technologies and security solutions. Daily activities and interactions include the following focus areas:

  • Network Technology – the OSI Model, IPv4/6, Routing, Switching, DNS, VLANs and Subnetting, Taps, Load Balancers, SNORT, YARA

  • Network Security – Firewalls, IDS/IPS, HTTP/SSL Proxies, SSL Interceptors, SIEM Products

  • Email Flow – Exchange / Domino, Cloud Solutions, AV and Anti-SPAM products

  • SOC Operations – IT process automation/orchestration

  • Intel – Knowledge and experience with Threat Intel

  • Problem solving skills and experience

  • Able to build excellent relationships with your customers and internally within internal teams – Systems Engineering, Marketing, Professional Services etc.

  • Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills

  • Willingness to be challenged and a strong desire to learn

  • Security certifications, CISSP, CISM, Security+, CEH, etc. are a plus

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and execute in a methodical and disciplined manner. Establish and manage expectations with senior stakeholders and team members

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present to a variety of external audiences, including the ability to communicate with senior executives

  • Exceptional written communication. This role requires the ability to understand and articulate both the business benefits (value proposition) and technical benefits of our products and solutions.
