“You have to keep your spine straight, otherwise…”

Actor Siddhant Chaturvedi has now entered the action realm with his upcoming film Yudhra. During the promotions, he addressed the public perception of arrogance after his various round table discussions.

Explaining his views, the Yudhra star explained that he comes from a humble background and sticks to his parents; it is the love he had but at times he remains down to earth. Talking to India Today, he said, “Arrogance is not confidence, a lot of people think that. I do read it on Reddit and I think it is because of the round table where people thought I was just arrogant but honestly I want to clarify that uss ke bina it is so difficult to survive here (in the industry). Aap dabte rahoge toh aap dabte hi chale jaaoge. You have to keep your spine strong and sometimes it can come across as hubris but that is the fuel that tells me to do things and take things forward in life.”

He also discussed his future plans and his growing profile in the industry, although he feels he has yet to reach the top. He stated that he wants to use the next five years to cement his position and make a significant impact in showbiz.

Siddhant said: “I still feel like I’m not at the top, which discourages me. I want to be everyone’s first choice or at least be in the top three.”

On the work front, Siddhant will be seen starring opposite Raghav Juyal in Yudhra. The film also has Malavika Mohanan as the female lead. The story revolves around a man named Yudhra, who is on a mission to bring down an influential drug mafia.

The action film is directed by Ravi Udyawar and written by Shridhar Raghavan. It is produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, under Excel Entertainment.
