Morganton Man Charged With Child Sex In McDowell NC

Noah Andrew Harris, 21, of Morganton, was charged with rape of a minor, indecent acts with a child and sexual exploitation of a child in the second and third degrees, according to a news release from the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office.

The charges against Harris came after McDowell Detective Billie Brown received a report of possible sexual abuse of a minor, the press release said.

Brown determined that Harris had an inappropriate relationship with a 14-year-old, the press release said.

Harris was held without bail.
