Hailee Steinfeld calls boyfriend Josh Allen ‘my favorite person’

Now that the NFL season has officially begun, Perfect pitch actress makes it a priority to cheer on her boyfriend and Buffalo Bills quarterback, Josh Allenwhenever he enters the field.

“So the rumors are true. Football season is back, which means a couple things,” Steinfeld, 27, wrote in the Friday, Sept. 13, edition of her Beau Society newsletter. “A) I get to watch my favorite person make NFL history every week (go down 17). B) We’re only a few weeks away from drastic temperature drops (California girl talk) where you’ll find me drinking hot chocolate in vintage Bills gear.”

When Allen, 28, takes the field to throw touchdown passes, he always wears No. 17 on his jersey.

Steinfeld can be found at various NFL stadiums showing off her love for the Bills in clothing from Queen City Vintage, a vintage store that sells her “favorite game day clothes.”

“I had this whole vintage fashion issue written up for Sunday’s home opener,” Steinfeld wrote in her latest newsletter. “But I spent most of the game thinking about 1) how lucky I am to have a front-row seat to the magic of JA17, the entire Bills team, and the energy in the stadium. 2) The people who make up Bills Mafia are second to none.”

On September 8, Allen and the Buffalo Bills opened their season with a win over the Arizona Cardinals. In week two, they added another win against the Miami Dolphins.

More than a year after the two first split and rumors of a romance emerged, Allen decided to make his relationship with Steinfeld official on Instagram in July.

“Moving on 🤘🏼,” the NFL player wrote via Instagram alongside a photo from their trip together to Paris in April.

Although the couple has been more open about their romance these days, Allen previously said he was surprised that fans were so curious about his love life.

“The fact that anyone still cares about that still blows my mind,” the athlete said on an August 2023 episode of the “Pardon My Take” podcast. He later admitted that he gets a “dirty feeling” whenever photographers try to capture a private date moment between him and Steinfeld.
