Canyon County Man Arrested for Distribution and Possession of Child Sexual Exploitation Materials

(BOISE) – Attorney General Raul Labrador announced that investigators with his Idaho Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force arrested 33-year-old Eduardo Tavera on Thursday, September 12and2024, for one (1) count of distribution and four (4) counts of possession of material relating to the sexual exploitation of children.

“Our network of partnerships and agencies across the state shows that together we can make a difference in protecting children,” said Attorney General Labrador. “We are holding these predators accountable for their crimes and removing them from our communities.”

The agencies supporting the ICAC Task Force were the Nampa Police Department and the Canyon County Prosecutor’s Office.

The Attorney General’s ICAC Unit works with the Idaho ICAC Task Force, a partnership of federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies, to investigate and prosecute individuals who use the Internet to criminally exploit children.
