Northampton Co. man accused of child abuse – Times News Online

A 69-year-old Bath man is facing multiple charges in connection with incidents where authorities say he uploaded sexual material in a child exploitation case.

State police at the Fogelsville barracks reported that the PSP Bureau of Criminal Investigations, Southeast Computer Crime Task Force, launched an investigation after receiving a CyberTipLine report from the Pennsylvania Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

According to police, the report was forwarded to the task force by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. It states that the man was involved in uploading 10 files containing child sexual abuse/child exploitation material via Google at 3:44 p.m. on August 29, 2023.

Police said an investigation began on May 6 of this year and the arrest was made following further investigation and the execution of a search warrant at the suspect’s home, during which files containing child abuse material were found on the man’s cell phone.
