Trump unveils plan to crush foreign gangs in Aurora, Colorado

Former President Donald Trump has unveiled his plan to destroy foreign gangs in Aurora, Colorado, after reports that illegal Venezuelan immigrants were taking over apartment complexes in the Democratic-run city.

At a campaign rally in Las Vegas, Nevada, the former president said Friday night that he plans to “crush” these gangs if he is elected president in November.

Trump joked that illegal Venezuelan immigrants are “real estate developers” just like him.

“They have become real estate developers, just like I used to be,” the former president said.

“They’re destroying rivals from Chile and Colombia… How in the world did we let this happen to our country?” Trump remarked, referring to a recent Wall Street Journal report.

Trump cited a July memo from the Homeland Security Investigations Office in Colorado that said Venezuelan gangs had been given a “green light” to shoot officers, the New York Post reported.

“In Colorado, the gang even got the green light to shoot police,” the former president said.

“That is unacceptable,” he argued, before unveiling his plan to tackle these gangs head on.

“When I return to the White House, I will create a special task force of elite federal law enforcement officials and direct them to crush and eliminate every foreign gang and organized crime network that overtakes our country,” Trump announced.

“We will use ICE, DHS and other federal officials to liberate Aurora,” the former president added. “Can you believe I have to say this? We are going to liberate parts of our country.”

As the Post reported, law enforcement officials in Aurora have arrested 10 members of the notorious Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua.

Gang members have taken over apartment complexes in the city and are using them as bases of operations, making life difficult for the American residents in the area through their criminal activities.

During his debate with Vice President Kamala Harris, the former president appeared angry at times.

During his speech in Las Vegas, Trump acknowledged that he was indeed “angry,” referring to the crisis at the southern border and the situation in Aurora.

“Of course I’m angry,” Trump said.

“21 million people have come to our country, invaded our communities, towns and villages and destroyed our country,” he added.

“I’m angry about the Venezuelan gangs taking over Aurora, Colorado, and I’m angry about the illegal Haitian migrants taking over Springfield, Ohio… and the American people are pretty damn angry too,” Trump continued.

The New York Post spoke to some of the thousands of Trump supporters who attended the former president’s rally in Las Vegas.

Sterling Bawden, a Nevada resident and one of those in attendance at the rally, praised Trump for his comments and predicted that the former president would win his state’s election this fall.

“Because he is the man,” Bawden told the outlet.

“Nevada needs a lot of things, and he’s the guy who can do that with all the policies he has and rebuild, you know, but also make America great again,” he added.
