Solid Crew band members Noel and Dwayne Thomas made an impression as they walked onto the stage in their matching tracksuits.

Before playing their self-penned track Long Time Coming, they told their VT: “I’m Dwayne, I’m Noel, we’re from South East London and we’re the Twin MCs.”

The Voice host Emma Willis asked them, “Have you performed much?” to which they replied, “We joined the So Solid Crew when we were 17.”

They added: “When we joined So Solid Crew, it absolutely changed our lives.

“We learned a lot musically and we now have that experience.”

They added: “It’s time for the world to see it.”

After their amazing rap, will.i.am, Tom Jones, Danny Jones and Tom Fletcher from McFly turned their chairs around.

Twin MCs then chose Black Eyed Peas star Will to guide them through the next stages of the ITV show.

One fan was quick to respond to X, commenting: “I didn’t expect members of So Solid Crew to be part of this! They were brilliant.”

Another commented: “Wow!!! Such a solid crew brings back memories.”

A third then said: “Twin MC’s did an amazing job!!

“Real old skool vibes there. Kudos to those guys.”

Their Instagram bio now reads: “Currently starring on The Voice UK.

“Keep supporting your favorite twins.”

Last year, the duo showcased their talents at the Black History Month celebration in Milton Keynes.

Some members of the So Solid Crew were described as ‘unrecognisable’ when they took the stage together earlier this summer.

Oxide and Neutrino, Romeo, Ms Dynamite, Dandaman and Lisa Mafia were all members of the British garage collective from London.

The So Solid Crew’s glory days were short but powerful.

Their hit singles 21 Seconds and They Don’t Know helped introduce grime to the masses, but So Solid Crew have also faced their fair share of setbacks in the years since their rise to fame.
