Dr. Ali’s bold leadership stands firm against drug cartels and criminal networks — Lead Guyana

Speaking at the launch of the National Defence Institute, he stressed that Guyana will not allow itself to be used as a conduit for criminal activities and that those who attempt to do so will be met with decisive action. President Ali acknowledged the recent successful drug interceptions and the efforts of law enforcement officials and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to dismantling all local criminal cells. Dr. Ali stressed Guyana’s readiness to work with other countries and stakeholders to combat drug trafficking and criminal networks operating in the region.
