From producer Taylor Sheridan (Yellowstone, Mayor of Kingstown, etc) and showrunner Terence Winter (Promenade Empire), Tulsa King was a huge success in its first season, weaving together some fish-out-of-water comedy and traditional mob crime drama into a show that was ultimately a lot of fun. Follow longtime mobster Dwight “The General” Manfredi (Stallone) as he emerges into the present after 25 years behind bars, Tulsa King also manages to incorporate family drama, a marijuana dispensary, and a whole cast of lovable supporting characters. It’s a fun and easy watch, perfect for a pre-football Sunday routine.

Nearly the entire cast from Season 1 is returning, which in addition to Stallone also includes Andrea Savage, Martin Starr, and Garrett Hedlund, but now we get the chance to add some formidable villains to the mix. That means characters played by old Taylor Sheridan friend Neal McDonough (who played a villain in Yellowstone) and Frank Grillo action classic. It should be fun—and a fun test for Stallone’s Dwight to overcome.
