The Berlin Food Festival returns for its fourth edition and continues to highlight the city’s evolving food scene. This year’s festival focuses on Italian cuisine, which celebrates craftsmanship and quality. The event will include a special Italian food market on September 21 and 22 (cards €10). You can buy products from regions such as Tuscany, Trentino, Piedmont, VeniceAnd Sicily. More info.

Since 1983 the historical Courtrooms in Wedding is home to a large community of artists, with approximately 70 studios located between Gerichtstrasse and Wiesenstrasse. Every September, these studios open their doors to the public, giving visitors the chance to explore the spaces where art is made and speak directly with the artists. The event covers a wide range of artistic disciplines, from to paint And sculpture Unpleasant photography And ceramics. More info.

Anja Schneider’s party series, Pumpreturns for its late summer edition on September 21st at OHM, a venue linked to Tresor. The event starts at 16:00 and features a special guest, Sour Pauli, next to Anja in the booth. PuMp is designed for ravers who want an energetic experience without the need for an all-night commitment. It is a celebration of coming of age in club culture. French wine, oysters and snacks will be available in Tresor’s garden. More info.

Kulturschöpfer and Green Hill Gallery present “Again: Humanize” an exhibition featuring the work of ten artists, each exploring their own personal and varied experiences of migration. The exhibition highlights themes of human resilience while critiquing the systems that dehumanize and divide. Through various artistic media, “Again: Humanize” provides a space where individuals from all backgrounds are recognized and valued. It encourages reflection on how migration and integration can be shaped by compassion, respect and a commitment to human dignity! More info.

This restaurant is in my neighborhood and I always saw a lot of Vietnamese people eating there, so we decided to give it a try. Overall it was a good experience. They offer dishes that you don’t often find in the more typical Vietnamese restaurants in Berlin. It’s a family business and doesn’t seem to be part of the bigger restaurant mafia (yes, there is one!). The prices are quite affordable and the portion sizes are decent.
