Woman’s boyfriend found dead near St. Pete dumpster arrested for her murder: police

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) — The boyfriend of the woman found dead near a dumpster in St. Pete Saturday morning has been arrested by police.

Detectives arrested 41-year-old Daniel Coley on Sunday for the murder of 40-year-old Amanda Browning.

Browning’s body was found “with signs of trauma” by a passerby just after 8 a.m. in the 3800 block of 15th Avenue North. Officials said she had visible stab and laceration wounds.

According to detectives, the two shared an apartment.

Coley is being held in the Pinellas County Jail and is charged with second-degree murder.
