Criminal killed in gang clashes in Nandanvan

Nagpur: A Brewing gang warfare between two groups led to the death of a dreaded criminal by stoning on Sunday afternoon in Padole Nagar under Nandanvan police station limits. The police have registered a murder case and identified four suspects, who are missing.
There is an atmosphere of fear among the locals as they fear the killing will lead to further escalation of the rivalry. The deceased has been identified as Vikesh Jadhav (34), a resident of Bhim Chowk, while the suspects are Nikhil alias Damba Wasnik, Bhola Ingle, Prabhakar Chaudhari and Akash Nagrikar.
According to the police, Vikesh has multiple serious crimes to his name including murder, assault, armed attack, robbery and others. The accused Nikhil also has multiple crimes to his name including assault, robbery, robbery and others.
Sources say that Vikesh and Nikhil were fighting for power.
On Sunday, Vikesh went to a friend in Padole Nagar when he saw Nikhil. Vikesh started beating Nikhil who called his friends for help. Nikhil and his goons attacked Vikesh. He was stoned to death. Eyewitnesses informed the police control room.
