Man Arrested in Horry County on Minor Sexual Exploitation Charges

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – A tip about alleged criminal activity on a messaging app led to the arrest of a man in Horry County.

The Horry County Sheriff’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force has arrested Daniel Busang, 55, on three counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.

In a Facebook post, the sheriff’s office said they had received a tip about criminal activity on Kik. After a search of his home, detectives arrested Busang.

No further details were immediately released about the allegations against Busang.

The South Carolina Attorney General’s Office will prosecute this case.

Busang was released from the J. Reuben Long Detention Center on Friday on $15,000 bail.
