3 Nashville men arrested, 1 wanted in connection with human trafficking investigation involving Kentucky teen

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Police say they have arrested three Nashville men and are searching for another man after an investigation revealed they were involved in the human trafficking of a teenage Kentucky girl.

According to the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD), detectives with the Juvenile Services Division launched an investigation into the human trafficking of the 13-year-old girl after she ran away from Oak Grove, Kentucky on Christmas Eve.

According to authorities, the girl was found in the Cayce Homes neighborhood on January 9. Three Nashville men are now facing a series of charges in connection with the case.

MNPD said Octavius ​​Stepheny, 31, was arrested Monday, Sept. 16, on a grand jury indictment for human trafficking for a commercial sex act. He is being held in Metro Jail on $100,000 bail.

Another suspect—identified as 32-year-old Kemar Robinson—was arrested on Jan. 2 and transported to Sumner County on an outstanding charge of sexual battery, police said. He was returned to Davidson County on March 1 and booked on several charges and misdemeanors, including aggravated rape of a minor, and especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor. He remains jailed on $85,000 bail.

Meanwhile, 47-year-old Corey Chambers was arrested on August 29 on a grand jury indictment for aggravated rape of a minor. He is being held in Metro Jail on $75,000 bail.

Detectives said their investigation revealed that there may have been others involved with the victim during the two weeks she was in Nashville, including 26-year-old Wilbert Pollard.

According to the MNPD, Pollard is wanted for questioning because he is believed to have direct knowledge of those who had contact with the 13-year-old.
