Poison drummer Rikki Rockett reveals some details about his new band The Rockett Mafia

Poison drummer Rikki Rocket has been reunited with his former Devil’s City Angels band member / lead singer Brandon Gibbs to form a new band called The Rockett MafiaThe other members are ex-Bullet boys And King Cobra guitarist Mick Sweda and bassist Bryan Kimes who play in The hot summers together.

The following message was posted on Rocket‘s Facebook page earlier today:

“The boys and I have had so much positive feedback on this lineup so far! I feel very blessed. Our agent is going to have quite a shopping list to work through. Thank you all for all the positive feedback!”

A little more about us…

This little band was formed to have fun re-imagining, for the most part, covers from the 70s, but not the usual lot you might expect. Wait until you hear some of these songs and you’re like, “Hey, I know that song! I can’t believe they’re playing that!” But don’t underestimate original material. Brandon And Mick Both are powerhouses.
