Former senator threatens to sue woman who claims he made ’32 sex tapes’ with her

A former senator representing Adamawa North, Elisha Abbo, has issued a legal threat against one Wange David after he was accused of making sex tapes with her.

In a recent interview, Wange claimed that she made 32 sex tapes with Abbo and accused him of leaking a particular clip that is currently circulating online. She claimed that he is the only person with access to the video, which indicates a breach of trust.

However, Abbo has strongly denied these allegations, claiming they are baseless and damaging to his reputation.

In response to the claims, Abbo’s lawyer, Odiyowvi Osusu, has written to David demanding a public retraction and apology within 72 hours. Failure to do so, the letter warns, will result in legal action against her.

Osusu said: “Our client has been made aware of a series of videos that have been published on social media and online media platforms to deliberately and maliciously discredit his person.

“Specifically, a video published on September 4, 2024 on ‘Naija Police U’ and an interview given to Trust TV News published on September 5, 2024 via their YouTube platform.

“In the said video and interview, you falsely and maliciously used defamatory words against our client, explicitly accusing him of sexual exploitation, publishing and distributing intimate videos, distributing revenge porn and blackmail.

“These videos have not only caused significant reputational damage to our client, but are also misleading to the public. The statements and claims in these videos are factually incorrect and have caused unnecessary harm to our client’s personal and professional reputation.

“Our client has instructed us to file a claim and we hereby formally request that you publish or broadcast on national television and in three national newspapers an unequivocal public correction and apology within 72 hours of receipt of this letter.

“The terms of this revocation must be approved by our company and we expect you to respond to us within 24 hours of receipt of this letter.

“You are also expected to disseminate the retraction and apology on the same platforms where your interviews were disseminated.

“Save and unless we receive a satisfactory response from you within the time periods stated above.”
