SSO & Entra ID SME at LSEG – IND-BLR-Divyasree Technopolis

We are looking for a highly skilled and knowledgeable SSO and Entra ID Engineer. The SME will be responsible for the design, implementation and support of the organization’s SSO and Microsoft Entra ID infrastructure.

This role requires in-depth knowledge of identity and access management, authentication protocols, and cloud security principles.

Main Responsibilities

  • Proactively assess and manage monitoring systems, address alerts, and review thresholds to ensure infrastructure stability.
  • Prioritize support requests, projects, and other tasks and complete them in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support projects and tasks critical to assessing, optimizing, managing, and maintaining enterprise and client systems and infrastructure related to SSO, ADFS, and Entra ID/Azure AD.
  • Provide hands-on experience in troubleshooting issues and organizational changes related to SSO, ADFS, and Entra ID.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance system efficiency and security.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and developments in SSO, ADFS and Entra ID technologies.
  • Experience in transforming manual processes and converting them to automated solutions. Knowledge of automation and scripting using various automation tools.
  • Experience executing PowerShell commands and creating PowerShell scripts in a Single Sign-on environment.
  • Involved in Major Incident Management processes including preparing Root Cause Analysis and implementing Post Incident Recommendations
  • Prepare and maintain documentation. Present new insights and concepts to the team.
  • Perform a detailed root cause analysis, using standard troubleshooting methodologies, techniques and processes, and procedures as defined by hardware/software vendors and based on personal experience.
  • Ensure that all support requests, projects, and other tasks are assessed, prioritized, addressed, and completed in a timely and competent manner.
  • Identify, document, publish, and enforce system policies, strategies, standards, procedures, checklists, agreements, diagrams, inventories, etc.
  • Working within a distributed team of experts supporting a single sign-on environment
  • Azure Authentication and SSO: They proactively assess and manage monitoring systems, address alerts, and revise thresholds to ensure infrastructure stability. They also prioritize and address support requests, projects, and other tasks related to SSO, ADFS, and Entra ID/Azure AD
  • Solve and Change Management: They provide hands-on experience in troubleshooting and change management related to SSO, ADFS and Entra ID. They identify and implement process improvements to enhance system efficiency and security.
  • Consent Management: They manage permissions based on historical usage and activity, enabling temporary access to risky permissions on request, and continuously monitor and adapt identities to prevent privilege creep.
  • Monitoring and Threat Assessment: They get granular access to every action performed by every identity on every resource and assess consent risk. They also prevent data breaches caused by abuse and malicious exploitation of consents with anomaly and outlier detection
  • Teamwork and Coordination: They work closely with various teams to ensure security compliance and coordinate pentesting and auditing processes.
