His Mate By Vengeance is a steamy enemies to lovers, destined partners, MM paranormal romance between a cantankerous wolf shifter and a murder sunshine vampire assassin. It features forced closeness, only one bed, and knots. There is no mpreg in this world.

JUDGEMENT:

The leader of the alpha pack, Marco, cared for the wolfshifter Angelo when he lost his entire family to the vampires.
He made him head of security for the Lunetti Pack, a bodyguard, someone who wanted to protect rather than attack, because that wasn’t Angelo’s thing.
Angelo is closed off and protects himself so that no one can get close.

Damn vampire, who got under his skin. Angelo has to protect Vin. Who really didn’t need protection, but Angelo was Vin’s bodyguard.

Vin has a one-sided brain, sex, when he opened his mouth sexual innuendos came out, when he looked at Angel he looked at specific parts.
Angelo hated vampires, but found Vin hard to resist.

There is a lot going on in this story and the further the story progresses the more intriguing and better it gets. Wait for the surprise that Marco knew about but Angelo didn’t.
Without giving away the progression or plot of the story, I can say that not everything is resolved. There is a nice transition to the next story though.

The pairing was amazing, I always enjoy that moment, it leaves me speechless!

Angelo was a big, super tense shifter, I loved his wiser wolf.
Both main characters were portrayed consistently.
I would have liked to have had more vulnerable moments, the emotional parts were still superficial, personally I need them a bit deeper. But that’s who I am. You can’t always get what you want!
All in all I can conclude that it was an entertaining story that I enjoyed!
