GDIT is seeking an enthusiastic Systems Administrator to expand their experience in the IT field by joining our team as a Cyber ​​Systems Administrator in support of the Air Force’s Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission at Langley AFB, Va.

The Systems Administrator will work with our Cyber ​​team to support the Air Force’s Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) Processing, Exploitation, Dissemination (PED) Operations Center (DOC). Specifically, you will deliver Cyber ​​Monitoring and Defense in a global enterprise.

Role: Cyber ​​Systems Administrator

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure proper management of the ESS/HBSS server(s), including managing policy configurations and managing endpoint product updates.

  • Ensure correct patching and configuration of the ESS/HBSS server

  • Provide ePO functionality including asset discovery, tracking and organization

  • Ensure workstations and servers have the latest software

  • Ensure proper management of the Microsoft SQL database in which the ePO is stored.

  • Configure/maintain ESS/HBSS environment on all required classified networks

  • Configure/maintain ECH/WCH failover capabilities

  • Implement U.S. Department of Defense mandated security configurations as well as industry best practices for ESS/HBSS

  • When specified or required by policy, install and maintain security patches on HBSS servers

  • Work as part of an integrated team consisting of system administrators, network engineers, ISSMs/ISSOs, CNDs, service desk analysts and other on-site personnel

  • Support for desktop support tickets related to ESS/HBSS issues

  • Stay familiar with the DISA Secure Host Baseline (SHB) configuration

  • Stay familiar with network VLANs and subnets

  • Troubleshooting computer hardware and software problems

The likely salary range for this position is $102,000 – $138,000. However, this is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Salary is determined based on experience, geographic location, and possible contractual requirements and may fall outside of this range.
