GDIT is seeking an enthusiastic Systems Administrator to expand their experience in the IT field by joining our team as a Cyber Systems Administrator in support of the Air Force’s Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission at Langley AFB, Va.

The Systems Administrator will work with our Cyber team to support the Air Force’s Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) Processing, Exploitation, Dissemination (PED) Operations Center (DOC). Specifically, you will deliver Cyber Monitoring and Defense in a global enterprise.

Role: Cyber Systems Administrator

Responsibilities:

Ensure proper management of the ESS/HBSS server(s), including managing policy configurations and managing endpoint product updates.
Ensure correct patching and configuration of the ESS/HBSS server
Provide ePO functionality including asset discovery, tracking and organization
Ensure workstations and servers have the latest software
Ensure proper management of the Microsoft SQL database in which the ePO is stored.
Configure/maintain ESS/HBSS environment on all required classified networks
Configure/maintain ECH/WCH failover capabilities
Implement U.S. Department of Defense mandated security configurations as well as industry best practices for ESS/HBSS
When specified or required by policy, install and maintain security patches on HBSS servers
Work as part of an integrated team consisting of system administrators, network engineers, ISSMs/ISSOs, CNDs, service desk analysts and other on-site personnel
Support for desktop support tickets related to ESS/HBSS issues
Stay familiar with the DISA Secure Host Baseline (SHB) configuration
Stay familiar with network VLANs and subnets
Troubleshooting computer hardware and software problems

The likely salary range for this position is $102,000 – $138,000. However, this is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Salary is determined based on experience, geographic location, and possible contractual requirements and may fall outside of this range.
