Your career

We are looking for a Senior Linux Internals Software Engineer for our R&D center in Tel Aviv.

You will be part of a team that designs and develops the Linux internals of our revolutionary endpoint security product for the Linux platform.

Your impact

  • Design and implement innovative capabilities for a market-leading product, deployed across a range of platforms from bare-metal to the cloud
  • Develop critical components in the internal Linux parts of the product, including user- and kernel-mode OS-related infrastructures in both C and C++
  • Leverage advanced Linux technologies for real-time event collection, anti-malware, anti-exploit, network filtering, and more
  • Lead features in collaboration with other development and QA teams
  • Be part of a team that values ​​best practices and high standards for SW development

Qualifications

Your experience

  • Extensive knowledge of the inner workings of Linux, Linux “under the hood”
  • Very strong systems programming skills C++
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Linux systems programming
  • Strong debugging skills with various tools on different Linux platforms
  • Demonstrable experience with multi-threaded application development
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent military experience required

Preference

  • Knowledge of multiple Linux distributions (RHEL, Ubuntu, etc.) is a plus
  • Experience with containers, docker, k8s – a plus
  • Experience with Linux namespaces – a plus
  • Knowledge of different build environments is an advantage
  • Experience with software security and/or Linux Security modules (SecureBoot, SELinux, AppArmor, etc.) – a plus
  • Experience with Linux kernel programming – an advantage
  • Self-motivated and passionate about software engineering and coding
  • Experience reviewing code from colleagues’ work with attention to detail and enthusiasm for quality
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, work under stressful time pressure and still be focused and have a sense of humor
