Man Arrested for Sexual Exploitation After Florida Agency Tip

DORCHESTER COUNTY, SC (WCBD) – The Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man for sexual exploitation of a minor after receiving information from an agency in Florida.

Casey Donald Marshall, 40, of Ladson is charged with second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.

According to the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office, officers executed a search warrant and made an arrest in the 9700 block of Table Mountain Lane in Ladson. The warrants were obtained after an extensive investigation prompted by information from the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office in Florida.

Authorities say Marshall used an online messaging and community website to send explicit photos and messages out of state. During the investigation, investigators linked Marshall to a nudist community in Osceola County.

Marshall is being held in the LC Kight Dorchester County Detention Center on a $65,000 cash bond.
