Trailer: “Den of Thieves 2: Pantera”

The first trailer has been released for “Den of Thieves 2: Pantera,” the sequel to the 2018 Gerard Butler-directed heist thriller film “Den of Thieves.”

The director of the first film, Christian Gudegast, returns as writer and director for this film. In the film, Big Nick (Gerard Butler) is once again on the hunt in Europe and he comes across Donnie Wilson (O’Shea Jackson Jr.).

Donnie finds himself entangled in the treacherous and unpredictable world of diamond thieves and the notorious Panther Mafia as they plot a massive heist at the world’s largest diamond exchange.

Also starring are Michael Bisping, Salvatore Esposito, Orli Shuka, Evin Ahmad, Cristian Solimeno, Nazmiye Oral, Yasen Zates Atour, Giuseppe Schillaci, Dino Kelly, Rico Verhoeven, Velibor Topic and Antonio Bustorff.

STXfilms released the first film in January 2018. The film, which was called a “mindless version of Michael Mann’s ‘Heat,'” was a minor hit, grossing approximately $80.5 million worldwide from an estimated budget of $30 million. The film co-starred Pablo Schreiber and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson.

“Den of Thieves 2: Pantera” will be released in U.S. theaters on January 15, 2025 by Lionsgate Films.
