He holds two prestigious titles: the largest feet and the largest hands for a living teenager.

Kilburn’s feet are a whopping 13 inches long, making him a size 57 shoe. His hands are 9 inches long.

These measurements are significantly larger than the average sizes for boys his age, who are about 7 inches tall and have a much smaller shoe size.

Early recognition and challenges

Kilburn first noticed his unusual size when he was in kindergarten, realizing that he was much taller than his peers.

As he got older, it became increasingly difficult to find shoes and gloves.

Since fifth grade, he has relied on custom-made orthopedic shoes, which can cost up to $1,500 a pair.

This prompted his mother, Rebecca Kilburn, to consider whether his unique dimensions might qualify him for a world record.

With the encouragement of family and friends, Kilburn applied for the record titles at the age of 14.

His story received a lot of attention online and attracted the attention of major sports brands such as Puma and Under Armour, who started supplying him with custom-made shoes.

Reflections on performance

Kilburn expressed his disbelief at his inclusion in the Guinness World Records register, saying:

“It feels surreal to be included in the Guinness World Records register… I am incredibly grateful for this experience.”

He hopes his visibility will help others who feel excluded because of their unique qualities, and encourage them to accept their differences.

Kilburn said he looks up to figures like basketball legend Shaquille O’Neal and wants to use his platform to inspire and support others facing similar challenges.
