Future Kicks Off With ‘Mixtape Pluto’: Stream It Now

Future released his first solo project of the year Mixtape Pluto on Friday (September 20) via Freebandz and Epic Records.

The 17-track project includes “Too Fast” and “Lil Demon,” which he previewed earlier this month, and “South of France,” which Travis Scott previewed, though no artists were named in the tracklist. Southside and 808 Mafia’s Wheezy are featured on the production, according to the former’s Instagram.

Mixtape Pluto marks the Atlanta native’s third project of 2024, following his two collaborative albums with Metro Boomin — We don’t trust you And We still don’t trust you — both of which topped the Billboard 200; the previous album included the blistering Kendrick Lamar-featuring Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 “Like That” track, which sparked the biggest rap feud of the year between Lamar and Drake. The dynamic duo concluded their We Trust You Tour on Sept. 9 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver. “Tour was a success thanks to all the fans. Grateful for every moment in every city ‘WE TRUST YOU 2024,” he wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter) the day after the tour ended.
