serial plot: Actor and documentary maker Ross Kemp is set to investigate and expose Britain’s surprising and deep-rooted ties to the Mafia, dating back to the 1920s. From there, Ross will embark on an epic odyssey to New York, Italy, Sicily, Colombia and Spain, before returning to London to uncover the tangled path of the Mafia’s involvement in Britain over almost a century. During his travels, Ross will speak to those closest to the Mafia bosses, top organised crime investigators and some of those affected by their crimes. Ross will use this knowledge to trace the complex web of money, drugs and criminals in and out of the UK, creating a historical map and timeline to reveal how the Mafia quietly and effectively wormed its way into the heart of the British underworld.
