Pocso case against woman who made allegations against Mollywood actors

KOCHI: Muvattupuzha police on Friday filed a case under the POCSO Act against the woman who filed the complaint allegations of sexual harassment against seven persons, including actors Mukesh, Jayasurya, Maniyanpilla Raju and Edavela Babu. The case was registered by the police, based on a complaint filed by a woman from Muvattupuzha, who is the niece of the complainant.

In the complaint, she alleged that the woman was forcing girls into sex trafficking and presenting her to a group in Chennai, during her school days. She also alleged that the complainant herself is part of a sex mafia, a police official said.

“We have registered a case against the woman based on a complaint from her family. She has been charged under various sections of the Pocso Act, but we cannot divulge further details due to the sensitive nature of the case,” said Murukan C, inspector, Muvattupuzha police station.
