The Lox Celebrates 30th Anniversary in LA at The Belasco

On Friday, September 20th, The Lox graced the stage in downtown Los Angeles, celebrating the 30th anniversary of their trio catalog. The group performed their remarkable classics from albums like Money, power and respect (1998), We are the streets (2000), Dirty America… It’s beautiful (2016), and Life of experience. Each artist also presented selections from their solo catalogs. The event took place at the Belasco Theatre in the heart of DTLA and was sparked by an opening performance by Coast Contra, with Little Cease of Junior Mafia as a surprise guest.

The Lox are an East Coast trio based in Yonkers, NY that formed in the 1990s. They made their commercial debut with Money, power and respectEach member has built a name for themselves outside of their group work, while still maintaining a presence in New York’s East Coast underground scene.
