Buffalo Bills fans will love the B/R analysis of the Bills and AFC East rivals

Remember when the Buffalo Bills were written off in the offseason? Whether it was due to their various roster cuts or even the trade of Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans, the Bills were no longer considered top prospects. Well, it looks like that narrative has changed after the first two weeks of the season.

The Bills enter their Week 3 primetime matchup 2-0 after wins over the Arizona Cardinals and Miami Dolphins. They proved that even when adversity strikes, they can come back, as they did against Arizona. And last week, they dominated the Dolphins from start to finish, coming away with a 31-10 victory over Miami.

The Bills have turned heads and are back in the Super Bowl conversation as they take on the Jacksonville Jaguars on Monday night. Yes, it’s only been two games, but they’ve shown two different sides of themselves that most teams haven’t.

Bleacher Report’s Brad Gagnon had 32 thoughts on all 32 NFL teams entering Week 3. Not only did Gagnon praise the Bills in such a haughty manner, but Gagnon completely shut down the rest of the AFC East. Here’s what Gagnon had to say about the Bills:

“They’re doing their typical early-season damage, and there’s little reason to expect the Jaguars to get in their way Monday night in Orchard Park. The Bills have become my top Super Bowl pick, so I expect a primetime statement.”

The Bills have impressed Gagnon so much that they are being labeled Super Bowl favorites, something the Bills Mafia likes to see.

On the other hand, the only thing that makes it sweeter is what Gagnon said about the rest of the AFC East. With the Miami Dolphins, the only mention was whether the Dolphins should consider a Bryce Young trade to the Carolina Panthers. The Patriots were mentioned about how it could be disastrous if they started Drake Maye behind that New England offensive line now.

And then there’s the New York Jets who crushed the Patriots last Thursday night. Gagnon still doesn’t believe in the Jets or Aaron Rodgers. Gagnon mentioned that the Jets are going to have a tough time in October and that time could easily show the NFL what kind of team the Jets really are.

The Bills are scheduled to host the Jacksonville Jaguars on Monday Night Football in Orchard Park for their second straight primetime game before hitting the road next week for a Sunday Night Football clash with the Baltimore Ravens. Buffalo is hoping to get off to a 3-0 start for the first time since 2020.
