80-year-old grandfather who sold illegal drugs for 25 years ends up in NDLEA’s net

An 80-year-old man, Aremu Shojobi, has been arrested by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) of the Lagos State Strategic Command for having 14 kilograms of cannabis in his house in Iyana Ipaja area of ​​the state.

NDLEA spokesperson Femi Babafemi made this known in a statement on Sunday.

According to Babafemi, the 80-year-old, he claimed in his statement that he has been in the drug trade for 25 years.

“He further claimed that he sources his supplies from Benin Republic and that he sells to his customers from his house every day between 7am and 10pm,” Babafemi added.
