Henry County man arrested for sexual exploitation of minor after social media post

HENRY COUNTY, Tenn. — An arrest has been made in Henry County after a post circulated on social media showing photos of several women making sexual comments.

The Henry County Sheriff’s Office said Sunday morning that they were aware of the post and were investigating the social media page. By mid-afternoon, they announced the arrest of Ronald Cummings.

Cummings is charged with sexual exploitation of a minor. The HCSO previously asked the public to contact them if they saw a photo of a minor with a comment on the post.

According to the sheriff’s office, the images appear to have been taken from other social media pages.

Cummings’ bail has been set at $50,000. His first court appearance is Tuesday.

The sheriff’s office has asked the public not to share Cummings’ post.

Anyone with additional information regarding this case is asked to contact the HCSO Investigations Division at 731-642-1672.
