Supreme Court urges Parliament to amend POCSO Act

“To give meaningful implementation to the above suggestions and work out necessary modalities, the Union of India may consider setting up an expert committee tasked with designing a comprehensive programme or mechanism for health and sexuality education, and raising awareness about POCSO among children across the country from an early age, to ensure a robust and informed approach to child protection, education and sexual well-being,” the report said.
