According to locals, Chicago’s South Side is being overrun by Venezuelan migrants, including members of the violent Tren de Aragua gang.

Members of the Chicago-based street patrol and violence prevention program Ex-Cons for Community and Social Change recently warned the New York Post that the city will “go up in flames” if local gangs and Tren de Aragua clash.

“Democrats are selling us out.”

Tyrone Muhammad, founder and CEO of ECCSC, is a former gang member who served 20 years in prison for murder, the Post reported. Now, Muhammad is a social change advocate who has taught “self-development programs aimed at reducing recidivism, such as behavior modification, social and emotional training, critical thinking, job interview skills, budgeting, finance and resume writing,” according to his organization’s website.

Muhammad, 53, recently told the Post: “It is impossible to allow gang members and criminals to come into our country through the borders and broken walls and infiltrate our community that is already impoverished and broken.”

He also warned: “When the black gangs here get fed up with the illegality and criminal activities of these immigrants or non-citizens, the city of Chicago will go up in flames and there will be nothing the National Guard or the government can do about it when the bloodshed takes place in the streets. It will be blacks against immigrants.”

Tren de Aragua, a transnational criminal organization, has been rapidly expanding its presence in the U.S. in recent years, including taking over several apartment complexes in Aurora, Colorado, Blaze News previously reported.

Sources told the Post that members of Tren de Aragua who live in the Chicago area are armed and brutal. The South Side neighborhood is home to many gangs, including the Gangster Disciples, Black P Stones, Vice Lords, Latin Kings and Satan Disciples. Now that TDA has spread to the area, some are concerned about a potential growing conflict.

Many Venezuelan migrants, including gang members, are staying at the Standard Club shelter in downtown Chicago. Shelter workers told the Post that no criminal activity has taken place on the premises and insisted that no TDA members live there.

However, Freedom of Information Act requests filed by Muhammad and Terry Newsome, a Chicago activist, revealed that there had been 720 police reports of sex trafficking, child pornography, drugs, carjackings, weapons and domestic violence at the location in the past 12 months, the Post reported.

“They move into our territory and rob people, but they are not arrested like us.”

South Side residents, including gang members, told the newspaper they are angry and frustrated with the way the city is treating the new immigrants.

David, a member of Gangster Disciples, stated: “The real problem is that America has allowed gangs to come into our country.”

“Gangs that they would consider ex-terrorist groups. They are letting terrorist groups into our country!” he shouted.

Zacc Massie — who was described by the Post as a street leader recently released from prison — said: “There’s a lot going on with (the migrant gangs) that no one even hears about.”

“They’re moving into our territory and robbing people, but they’re not getting arrested like we are,” Massie noted. “I actually spoke to one of them on the translator app. He told me everything he did; how they helped him get a car, an apartment, an (EBT) card, all that stuff. They gave them thousands, we get maybe $400 a month. And they don’t even have a social security number!”

Corey Rogers, a member of Black P Stone, added to the Post: “What bothers me is that Venezuelans are united.”

“The black gangs are too divided and they attack each other,” Rogers explained.

Muhammad founded Ex-Cons for Trump after feeling that Democrats had abandoned inner-city residents.

“It’s not so much Trump himself; it’s the Democrats stealing our river,” he told the Post. “The bougie (upwardly mobile) blacks may like Kamala Harris, but she’s not going to do anything for us.”

Reverend Corey Brooks echoed similar sentiments in the paper about failed Democratic policies: “Chicago is a blue city and Illinois is a blue state, but people are starting to wake up. It’s not about the person; it’s about the policy. I’ve seen firsthand what’s happening when it comes to criminal immigrant gangs, and it’s deeply troubling.”

The Chicago mayor’s office did not respond to a request for comment from The Post.
