Monday Night Football Double Feature Open Thread

Let’s end this miserable football week with a few games on Monday night.

First off, we have a bit of a grab bag of teams in the early card, a team that is expected to make another playoff run this year and the Jacksonville Jaguars. To kick off tonight’s fireworks, we head to upstate New York (intentionally!) to see the Jacksonville Jaguars take on the Bills Mafia and the Buffalo Bills, not necessarily in that order.

WHO: Jacksonville Jaguars (0-2) vs. Buffalo Bills (2-0)

What: Monday evening football (preliminary program??)

Where: Highmark Stadium, Orchard Park, NY

When: Monday, September 23, 6:30pm CDT

Why: Damn, I don’t know, because Trevor Lawrence could just accidentally do something funny.

Channel: ESPN (CBS for local markets)

And behind curtain number two, we have the last two teams that haven’t played yet this week. They are the ::checks notes:: the Cincinnati Bengals, eh, that’s not so bad, against, ugh, the Washington Commanders.

The Commanders travel across the Ohio River to Cincitucky to close out the evening at home against the Bengals.

WHO: Washington Commanders (1-1) at Cincinnati Bengals (0-2)

What: Monday Night Football (the main event?? I think??)

Where: Paycor Stadium, Cincinnati, OH

Why: Because it may be a diet-spit-out matchup, but it’s still football! Technically!

Channel: ESPN
