Upstate man charged with child sex crimes while out on bail in similar case

PICKENS COUNTY, SC (WSPA) – A Greenville County man who was arrested last year after allegedly sexually abusing children and animals has been arrested again on similar charges.

The Pickens County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that detectives arrested Lewis Sterling Eskew, Sr., 43, on Monday on two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.

The sheriff’s office said Friday that detectives received tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that Eskew was uploading and sharing child abuse material through a social media chat application.

A cell phone was found during a search of Eskew’s home on Monday, reportedly containing multiple files containing child abuse material.

Eskew was previously arrested in Greenville County in 2023 after detectives said he solicited a minor for sex, produced and possessed child pornography, recorded minors without their consent and performed sex acts with animals.
