KUALA LUMPUR: Police have received 10 reports of forced labour exploitation involving Global Ikhwan Services and Business Holdings (GISBH), said Police Inspector-General Tan Sri Razarudin Husain.

The victims, aged between 14 and early 20s, came forward following a public appeal.

“The incidents occurred in locations such as Miri, Rawang and Alor Star, between 2013 and 2024,” he said.

GISBH has been under fire since police raided 20 nursing homes allegedly run by the organization on September 11, rescuing 402 children.

Later screenings revealed that many of the children had been physically and emotionally abused. Reportedly, 13 children were victims of sexual abuse, including sodomy.

GISBH denies all allegations of child exploitation and abuse.

In a recent development, nearly 40 members of the GISBH are expected to be re-arrested under the Security Offences (Special Measures) Act (Sosma) after their remand expires.
