Son of potential Trump assassin arrested on child pornography charges ━ The European Conservative

Oran Routh, the 35-year-old son of Ryan Routh, the man accused of attempting to assassinate former US President Donald Trump in Florida, is in serious legal trouble himself after the FBI raided his home and found hundreds of files of child pornography on two electronic devices.

Prosecutors said the search of Oran Routh’s home in Greensboro, North Carolina, was conducted “in connection with an investigation unrelated to child exploitation.”

“These files contain videos from a known child pornography series that were produced outside of the State of North Carolina,” prosecutors said in the criminal complaint.

The indictment describes the content of the seized material as material depicting adults performing sexual acts on children as young as six years old.

The younger Routh is charged with two counts of possessing and receiving child abuse material and has been in custody in Guilford County, North Carolina, since Monday.
