Tom Welling and Cam Gigandet face off in a new clip from the Black Ops action film MAFIA WARS! – ACTION-FLIX.COM

Action-Flix debuts a brand new clip from the Saban Films action thriller Mafia Wars in which Smallville’s Tom Welling takes on Cam Gigandet (Never give up, shard). From writer-director Scott Windhauser comes a blistering, bullet-riddled Black Ops thriller that sees Welling go undercover to take down a notorious crime lord played by Gigandet. It looks to tick all the boxes for action fans, with bravado, antihero theatrics, and fierce action sequences featuring heavy weapons and fistfights. Check out the new clip below!

Official summary: Terry Jacobs (Tom Welling) is a recently released criminal who is sent undercover to bring down Griff (Cam Gigandet), the head of Italy’s most notorious mafia network.

Windhauser directs from a script he also wrote, and supporting cast includes Cher Cosenza, Chris Mullinax, Al Linea, Sidhartha Mallya, Alessia Alciati, and Sterling Griffin. Plus, check out some new footage from the film as we wait for the world premiere of old-school mayhem and hyper-violence!

The trailer that was delivered elicits the right reaction with action-loving Welling going all one-man-war and Gigandet showing us what likely happened to his character McCarthy after the events of the MMA thriller. I always knew he would amount to no good. I kid you not, though, because the trailer is full of blazing tracer fire and I love how Welling, who played the lead in Small town for ten seasons, really embraces his inner action hero, as he looks fantastic and is the role of a black ops thug. Gigandet has been playing mostly heroic roles lately, so it’s definitely a welcome change to see him go all out on being evil again. Bring on the inevitable throwdown, because I will be watching!
