Travis Kelce is a ‘Gossip Girl’ fan

Travis Kelce knows what good television is. During an episode of his New heights podcast, the NFL player, who recently starred in Grotesqueshared one of his favorite shows from his childhood: Gossip girl.

“What are your guilty pleasure shows, something that you’re a little embarrassed to admit?” Jason Kelce asked him. “I used to not tell everyone that I watched Gossip girl “Growing up,” Travis said. Jason replied, “You have Gossip girl“You should be ashamed of that.”

“Man, it’s so good,” Travis added. “If you watched it, you could dive deep into it.” Jason initially confused it with Gilmore Girlsuntil Travis explained that Chace Crawford and Blake Lively were in it. (Lively, one of Taylor Swift’s best friends, has met both of the Kelce brothers.)

Travis then gave Jason a rundown of the show. “I mean, it’s awesome,” he said. “It’s like a New York high school show with a lot of drama and basically everyone gossiping and talking shit about each other, which brings me to my new favorite show that’s out now and it’s Traitors“, Travis added.

Apparently he and Jason are both fans of the competition series. Jason watched it after hearing Travis’ recommendation (so maybe that means he Gossip girl (also in line?) However, they weren’t able to do a full debrief — Jason has only seen season 1 and Travis has only seen season 2.

But Jason did recognize the game at the heart of the series. “So I’ve played that game, I’ve played that game while climbing Kilimanjaro, so I’m familiar with it,” Jason said. “It wasn’t called Traitors, it was called The Mafia, but it’s the same premise.”

“The group’s job is to figure out who the bad guys or the traitors are in this show,” he explained of how it works in the show. “You do that by playing mind games, watching people’s body language, accusing people and slowly you reveal information.”

“Some people are good at lying and some people are bad at it,” Jason added.

The Traitors The Season 3 cast has already been announced, but we’re hoping Jason heads to Scotland for Season 4.
