Coldplay is set to perform in Abu Dhabi on January 11, 12 and 14, 2025, as fans from India and abroad rush to secure tickets. The high demand has fueled speculation that a large number of Indian fans will attend, given the rush to book tickets on various platforms.

Similar to the madness that was Coldplay’s ticket sale in Mumbai, fans experienced technical issues when buying tickets for the Abu Dhabi concert. Many reported issues with slow loading pages and frequent crashes on the Ticketmaster site. TV personality Nikhil Chinappa took to social media to vent his frustration, saying that despite being next in line, he was unable to complete his purchase. Chinappa tweeted: “I don’t know what happened here @ticketmaster. The screen went from ‘your turn to buy’ to a static screen of the stadium image.”

Other users voiced similar complaints, with one saying: “Looks like Ticket Master have messed up their redirecting links badly. Yet another disappointing ticket booking experience.” Another user commented humorously on the situation: “Looks like the Mumbai BookMyShow mafia has now taken over the AUH @coldplay scene haha. Damn that must suck. Indians will rule the world.”

Coldplay’s Abu Dhabi concert will take place at Zayed Sports City Stadium. Advance tickets will be available from September 25 for those who registered by September 23. Fans who missed out on the advance ticket sale will have another chance when general sales open on September 27 via the band’s official website.

During Coldplay’s Mumbai ticket sale on September 22 via BookMyShow, ticket prices ranged from ₹2,500 to ₹35,000. Resale prices on Viagogo have since shot up, with some tickets now going for ₹29,418.
