Exclusive: Leena Goenka takes up web series Bombay Bonds

Actress Leena Goenka, who has acted in TV shows like Maddam Sir, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, Bindiya Sarkar, Alibaba – Ek Andaaz Andekha etc., now has a web series in her hands. She is currently shooting for a web series directed by Ajaz Khan. The series will be a mafia-based gangster series and will be titled Bombay Bonds. The platform on which the series will be streamed has not been announced yet. The makers are in talks with a few well-known OTT platforms.

Leena will be playing the lead role in the series. Her role will be a powerful one, something she has not tried so far. The series will be an engaging fight between the good and the bad. It will be an action oriented thriller series, that’s what we know now. She was last seen on TV in the &TV show Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain, where she played a close friend of Vibhuti, played by Aasif Sheikh.

According to a reliable source, “The shooting is currently underway. The makers are excited about the story and plot, which is gripping and interesting.”
